Project Engineer
Successful candidates will desire to work with a dynamic project team in fast moving project environments. They will gain broad experience in all aspects of sewage and wastewater project implementation. Applicants will be encouraged to continue their professional development through attendance at seminars and training courses and will be encouraged to prepare for and apply for Engineering Chartership.
The Project Engineer’s scope of work will include but not be limited to:
- Working with tendering team for preparation of tender submission documents
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, customers, suppliers and subcontractors
- Support design activities including development of specifications and drawings
- Equipment selection and procurement
- Co-ordination with and/or site supervision to ensure smooth implementation of project works
- Preparation of project documentation, records, and reports; safety, equipment submissions, progress monitoring, scheduling, data, approvals, and closeout documents, etc.
- Assistance with plant commissioning and operation, including data collection and processing, ensuring safety compliance, etc.
On-the-job training / mentoring will be provided for all new applicants.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree: Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical
- 3 – 5 years working experience in Engineering Field (preferred)
- Ability to provide support to projects and supervise junior staff
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and other Project Management Tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated and able to work independently
