Incorporated in Hong Kong in 1995, and the Philippines in 1997, Kingsford Environmental is a multi awarded specialist consultant, designer, contractor, and operation and maintenance service providing solutions for a wide range of sewage and industrial wastewater projects.
The only homegrown sewage and wastewater treatment specialist in Hong Kong, Kingsford Environmental has an extensive track record for successful delivery of projects ranging in size from ultra-small package plants treating waste from single toilets in Hong Kong’s Country Parks, to the design, testing and commissioning for large-scale municipal plants.
We work in a variety of capacities ranging from design consultant, treatment process specialist, and process designer for large-scale municipal projects working with lead contractors, to turn-key services for small to medium-scale projects.
Kingsford Environmental has also made their presence felt in South East Asia with projects in the Philippines, and design and specialist equipment supply for projects in Malaysia, Vietnam and Korea.
Our Experience
With over 30 years of experience, we have particular expertise in process feasibility studies, process design, hydraulic design, process performance and capacity evaluation and optimisation, process upgrading, retrofitting, and operational trouble-shooting. We also have in-house laboratory facilities and can set up and run on-site wastewater laboratories for ongoing projects to allow real time capture of operation data.
We have held ISO 9001 accreditation since 2005 and are currently certified under ISO 9001:2015.
Hong Kong Government (HKSAR Government) consulting and contracting accreditations include:
- Consultants of Engineering Associated Consultants Selection Board (EACSB) under Environment (EP) Category, since 2018
- Listed Approved Supplier of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works of Hong Kong SAR Government sewage/wastewater treatment and drainage projects, since October 2000

Process specialization includes Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR), Membrane Bioreactor (MBR), Moving Bed Bioreactor (MBBR), and other compact processes. We offer customized solutions for process design and implementation, including;-
